Become a helicopter pilot

PPL(H) – Private
helicopter licence

The first step toward becoming a helicopter pilot.

The training

From your first lesson to your own licence

Earning a PPL(H) (Private Pilot Licence – Helicopter) is the first step toward becoming a helicopter pilot. The licence gives you the right to fly privately and bring friends and family along as passengers – for trips, experiences and the freedom to discover Sweden from the air.

The training is also the foundation for those who want to continue toward a commercial pilot licence (CPL-H) through modular training.

We tailor the training to each student. Some learn quickly, others need more time to feel comfortable with the helicopter's particular flight characteristics – and that is entirely natural. Flight training takes place in the Stockholm area (Åkersberga) with experienced instructors and modern training helicopters.
