FAQ
EASA Part-145 is the European regulation governing approved maintenance organisations for aircraft. A Part-145 certified helicopter maintenance facility has been audited and approved by the authority in terms of organisation, personnel, tooling, facilities, documentation and quality systems. In practice it means that all maintenance is carried out by certifying engineers in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance data, and that the work is fully documented and correctly released to service.

A Bell 206 is maintained according to the manufacturer's maintenance programme, with recurring checks based on flight hours and calendar time – typically 50-hour, 100-hour and 300-hour inspections plus an annual inspection, in addition to life-limited component replacements. The exact intervals are governed by the helicopter's maintenance programme and utilisation; we help you plan them so downtime is kept to a minimum.
